Property/Operations Technician at AB Hedemorabostäder

AB Hedemorabostäder is the municipal public housing company that owns and manages properties for rental of suitable housing and premises in Hedemora municipality, along with associated services and environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We at Hedemorabostäder are looking for a property/operations technician who will work in a department called internal maintenance with technical managers, property technicians, painters/carpenters.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision and maintenance on-site of the properties' technical systems
• Perform service on heating, ventilation, and control systems
• Conduct systematic fire protection work and manage fire alarm and sprinkler systems
• Handle periodic service schedules, e.g., functional checks and filter changes
• Perform air and temperature measurements for our customers
• Troubleshoot heating, hot water, and ventilation issues for our customers
• Repair and maintenance actions based on orders or fault reports
• Meter readings and follow-up on energy statistics
• Administration, e.g., customer reporting, energy statistics, work order management, follow-up on contract orders, etc.
• Ensure that OVK inspections are carried out and rectify any faults identified.
• Familiarity with working with computers and digital tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

You contribute with your expertise and commitment, and you have a property/operations technician education at the high school level or equivalent competence acquired in another way.

A broad property technical competence through relevant work experience from heating and ventilation systems, control, and regulation technology.

• It is important that you are social and have the ability to create an open and trusting dialogue with tenants and your colleagues.
• You can work independently, have strong problem-solving skills, and take responsibility for completing your tasks.
• You enjoy providing good service and always act professionally in your customer contacts.
• You have a good ability to work administratively with the help of digital tools and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

The position requires a B driver's license and is located in Hedemora.

On-call duty is included in this position.
